This year Mandy is returning to coach for Yucaipa for her 3rd year. We are excited to have this Yucaipa Volleyball Club Alumni as a part of our coaching staff. In addition to playing here at YVC for 6 years, Mandy played Varsity Volleyball at Yucaipa High School and was captain of her team for 1 year. In addition, she was awarded both the Most Inspirational player award and the Coaches Award! Mandy works as a licensed vocational nurse at Brookside Healthcare in Redlands, and she is currently attending school to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Her hobbies include singing, snowboarding, volunteering at her church working with the Junior High Group and hanging out with friends.

Tiffany is returning to our coaching staff this year and we are happy to have another Yucaipa Volleyball Club Alumni back with us! Tiffany played here at YVC for 5 years and played Varsity Volleyball at Yucaipa High School where she was Captain for 1 year and was awarded MVP of the team. Currently, Tiffany is attending Crafton Hills College where she has nearly completed her AA degree in Economics. Next semester she will transfer to Cal State San Bernardino where she will major in Business Economics. In her free time she enjoys going to Lake Havasu to wakeboard and water ski, going to church with her family and doing pilates.

Kayla has been coaching here at YVC for 4 years. We are glad to have her returning this year for her 5th season. Kayla is an asset to our club as a coach, and she is our resident setting expert. She played 4 years of varsity volleyball as well as club volleyball. After high school, she went on to play very successfully at the college level. Kayla was MVP of her team in her Freshman year at La Sierra University and she led the entire league in assists. She is currently studying in an OTA program to be an occupational therapist. In her free time, Kayla enjoys ceramics, knitting, skiing and hiking.

This year is Gary’s 7th season coaching with YVC. He has played volleyball throughout most of his life, and has successfully navigated his own daughters through the process of turning their volleyball talent into college scholarships. His experience has helped many of our YVC alumni do the same. Gary is the administrator of the most awesome Nursing and Rehabilitation center in Redlands. His hobbies are trying to surf, playing volleyball and seeking God to save marriages.
