relationship with the communities that we serve in order to maximize the potential
of our non-profit organization. His goals for the club include continuing to lay
the foundations for great athletes through our Future Stars Program and to refine
and mold High School and College level athletes through our competitive Club and
Junior Club teams. Jeremiah places the focus of this club on individual growth in
the sport above winning at all cost. While the staff will always coach and play to
win, there is an understanding that growth does not necessarily show on every score
board. Jeremiah loves the sport of volleyball and is passionate about producing players
who share a love for the sport. Having the highest quality coaches who share his
vision for the club is something that Jeremiah is extremely proud of. He is extremely
excited to continue to work with Coach Mari Winter this season! He was pleased to
watch our player grow dramatically last season under the training of Coach Mari and
he looks forward to another amazing season. Jeremiah looks forward to getting to
know all of you as the season progresses. He is always an email away if you need
to contact him for any reason.
Jeremiah has been coaching here at YVC for 8 years, and he is excited to be continuing
in what will be his 3rd year as Club Director. This fall he will assume a new position
as Assistant Volleyball Coach for the Women’s team at the University of Redlands.
In addition to his years here at YVC, he has coached very successfully at the Varsity
level at Calvary Chapel High School for 6 years. His teams have won league championships
and have advanced in the CIF playoffs to both the quarter and semi-final rounds.
In 2001 he was honored to be named Coach of the Year by the coaches that his teams
competed against in league. Before starting his coaching career, Jeremiah played
volleyball in high school and in college at Vanguard University. He also played high
school and college basketball and has coached both girls and boys Varsity basketball.
In addition, he has extensive knowledge and experience in athletic training, conditioning
and nutrition. Jeremiah has a bachelor’s Degree in History and a multiple subject
teaching credential. He currently teaches 4th Grade at Inland Leaders Charter School
in Yucaipa. His hobbies include running, surfing and playing basketball and volleyball.
With the help of his wife, Tiffany, the current and continuing club coordinator,
Jeremiah looks forward to leading YVC into an exciting 2011 - 2012 season. He is
working on pursuing an ever-growing
