Summer Soiree is the final tournament that finishes off our club season. Below you will find information about the tournament. Please feel free to contact us with any questions that you may have about this event. This page will be updated as more information becomes available.

TOURNAMENT GAMES:

All games for this tournament are held in Anaheim at American Sport Center (ASC) and the Anaheim Convention Center. Your team will play every day of the tournament (July 2nd - July 5th). Game play each day runs just like every other tournament throughout the season (4 team pools). Sometimes, playoff games after the original pool play for the day will be played to determine ranking. Exact game times and schedules for day 1 will not be available until July 1st. The schedule for each day after that will be determined by wins and losses the day before. There are both morning and afternoon pools running each day.

TRANSPORTATION:

Just like all tournaments, parents are responsible for getting their players to and from games. Last year, many parents organized car pools. Some families chose to stay in Anaheim hotels during the event. Our coaches drive to the games each day unless they arrange hotel stay themselves. We suggest that you start making your plans for this tournament right away to ensure that the weekend runs smoothly for your family.

DISNEYLAND CELEBRATION FOR YVC PLAYERS:

Every YVC player & coach will receive a FREE Disneyland ticket to participate in the “Disneyland Athlete Celebration Experience” on Monday, July 5th. All games on this day will end in the early afternoon. At around 4:00 pm (exact time will be provided when available), players will use their free ticket to get into Disneyland (NOT California Adventure). We will all meet together to enjoy the “Disneyland Athlete Celebration Experience.” We then have free reign of Disneyland Park until it closes! While the Athlete Experience is fun, it is very short. The best part of the event by far is just spending time together! It is a super fun evening at Disneyland to celebrate the end of a GREAT club season!

We will be sending home a ticket RSVP form for players to let us know whether or not they will participate in the event so that we know how many tickets to order for our players. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOUR PLAYER HAS AN ANNUAL PASS THAT IS NOT BLACKED OUT ON THIS DAY THAT SHE CAN USE TO ENTER THE PARK. We don’t want to buy more tickets than we need. The form is due back by Tuesday, May 8th.

DISNEYLAND CELEBRATION FOR FAMILIES:

Family & friends are welcome to share in this fun evening with us! You can purchase “Twilight Tickets” to Disneyland from us with an order form that we will be handing out soon. A Twilight ticket gets you into Disneyland at 4:00 pm or 6 hours before the park closes (whichever is longer). The cost is $56.00 per ticket (same price for children). If you have an Annual Pass that is not blacked out on this date, then of course you can use that to enter the park with us.
